IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System and CD-IELTS stands for Computer Delivered – International English Language Testing System. Although both the exams are same, however, the medium of exam delivery is different as IELTS is taken on a paper and CD-IELTS is conducted via Computer.

Is CD IELTS accepted in Canada?

Both computer-delivered and paper-based IELTS are accepted by Canadian immigration authorities. That's because IELTS on computer is exactly the same test as paper-based IELTS, but instead of writing your answers on paper, you will type them on a computer.

Is CD easy for IELTS?

The IELTS on computer test is easier than the IELTS on paper test. This is a myth! The test format, question types, time allocated to each test part and content is the same for both IELTS on computer test and the IELTS on paper test.
